The Wooden Series – Small II. Formicarium is a real European beech wood ant farm. Ideal for small to medium body size species. Simple shape and perfect workmanship – simply a “must have” for all ant keepers!
As the formicarium is made of real wood and is recommended for wood nesting species, a separate humidification hole is deliberately not provided in the formicarium. The necessary humidification and wetting for the species will be done by the colony.
Accessories available for purchase:
- Red sheet for darkening the nest
- Connecting tube for moving the colony
- Cut to size plexiglass, if the original needs to be replaced
- Wooden Series plug to close the connecting holes
