The Wooden Series – Mini I. Formicarium is a real African Iroko wood ant farm. Our dark brown Iroko wood is sourced from Southern Nigeria, so now is your chance to bring a touch of that amazing South African magic into your home. Perfect for a small colony of a few hundred workers just starting out. Our ant farm in the most beautiful dark shade of Iroko wood is not only eye-catching, but also an ideal choice for the lighter coloured ant species.

As the formicarium is made of real wood and is recommended for wood nesting species, a separate humidification hole is deliberately not provided in the formicarium. The necessary humidification and wetting for the species will be done by the colony.

• Red sheet for darkening the nest
• Connecting tube for moving the colony
• Cut to size plexiglass, if the original needs to be replaced
• Wooden Series plug to close the connecting holes
