Hangyapolisz Wooden Series – Mini II. Formicarium
The Wooden Series – Mini II. Formicarium is a real European beech wood ant farm. Ideal for smaller species such as Crematogaster s., Dolichoderus q. or smaller Camponotus sp. It is designed to house medium body size colonies at several depth levels. The cylindrical shape of the chambers makes the formicarium not only functional but also eye-catching.
As the formicarium is made of real wood and is recommended for wood nesting species, a separate humidification hole is deliberately not provided in the formicarium. The necessary humidification and wetting for the species will be done by the colony.
Accessories available for purchase:
- Red sheet for darkening the nest
- Connecting tube for moving the colony
- Cut to size plexiglass, if the original needs to be replaced
- Wooden Series plug to close the connecting holes
